Alright, alright ... Clear The Clowns!

AND MAKE WAY FOR:

Phil Says Six More Weeks of Winter!

Phil's official forecast as read 2/2/08 at sunrise at Gobbler's Knob:

Here Ye! Here Ye! Here Ye!

On Gobbler's Knob on this fabolous Groundhog Day, February 2nd, 2008, Punxsutawney Phil, the Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of all Prognosticators, Rose to the call of President Bill Cooper and greeted his handlers, Ben Hughes and John Griffiths.
[what's that saying about people and their "pets" looking alike?] :o)

After casting a weathered eye toward thousands of his faithful followers, Phil consulted with President Cooper and directed him to the appropriate scroll, which proclaimed:

"As I look around me, a bright sky I see, and a shadow beside me. Six more weeks of winter it will be!"
Verflucht.

Hello Tink, Hope you are doing fine. Six more weeks, give or take a few huh? Very creepy how they do look alike!
I stopped by because i read your comment at the who site and i was left with the very same feelings as you about the interview. I am quite a bit uneasy about the whole thing. Maybe i'll re-read it in a couple days and get a different take. I hope!
Take care and have a warm weekend!

Gobbler's Knob? Is that a town or something? If so, it's a funny name...especially if you are familiar with the term Knob Gobbler. LOL!

As for the winter thing...We don't have winter here in SoCal. Not really anyhow.

Well, according to the Canadian version of Pete/Phil, Wireton Willie says we're getting an early Spring!

We'll just have to see now, won't we...

Oh, and please do enlighten me on Pete's interview!
I'm not able to join the Who site, but maybe you could just whisper in my ear when no one's looking.

;)

Bad, Bad! Naughty blogger, Tink!
So sorry to be MIA.

Hi Cheryl Ann Thanks for stopping by! Bless you. Did you get to go back and read the interview? I haven't had time to read it through again. The "written" Pete is sometimes really tough to interpret. He's such a minx. ;o)

Rob! oh lol .. leave it to you to point *that* one out! lol lol lol Yeah, having lived in So. Cal *and* the Midwest *and* the Northeast - I can unequivocally state that the climate in So. Cal. is incredibly nice.

Hi Grace Hope the rain stopped :o) Stay dry and warm, and give those girls a big hug from me!

Oh Dale I hope Willie is weally wight this year. :o) Kind of hard to enlighten you on the interview, it's like 18 pages long! The tone was typical Pete and easily misinterpreted. However, I just felt vaguely uneasy and disturbed after reading it. I'll pop by later with more.

I hope everyone is well and that life is treating you kindly!
