As the sun was setting in the West, this cloud formation was rising in the East early last evening (5/30/10). As we finished our picnic raspberry tarts, this formation appeared eastward over the Chicago area. Everyone saw something a little different: dragon, Nessie, swan, tower, angel.

Nice image Gina! Yes, snowy egret is there!!! It does look like a funnel cloud Grace. Thank God it wasn't. lol When I first saw it, a funnel cloud was the first passing thought on it. Then, as the colorful clouds moved in and reflected the setting sun, it took on a whole different look. It was so lovely.
