Simple dreams as time flies on painted wings,
Of dragonflies, snowy owls, and magic blue swings.
Hearts beat as one in a warm embrace,
Closer my love, caressing your face.
Eyes of my child, dizzy with wonder,
How magic takes hold as we float under,
The water’s gentle swirling,
Laughing bubbles whirling,
Breaking through the surface with ease,
Loving you, loving me ...

I love it! lol
7 y/o son Ben comments on the poem, which he has not read until today [that I'm aware]:
"Hush little baby, don't say a word, Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird. And if that mockingbird don't sing, Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring. And if that diamond ring turns brass, Mama's gonna buy you a looking glass. And if that looking glass gets broke, Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat. And if that billy goat runs away ...
So, hush little baby don't you cry, Mama's gonna sing you a lullabye."
Thanks Ben, I'll think on it.
Love,
Mommy
