Then, a pay-per-view order for some hulkamania wrestling. I hope it was worth the $29.99 charge, BEN!
Yep. My often underestimated changeling child. 10-year-old Ben, and so motivated by certain film titles, that he was able to figure out in all his autistic glory ... just how to bypass the parental control feature on Comcast digital cable. Thank you Comcast for having had a toad and a sparrow design the stoopid feature. What Ben discovered, that I had not, was that unless ALL X-rated or R-rated features are blocked, he could bypass by going to the channel with those titles and order the titles. He also could bypass it by going into a future week, and pre-ordering the titles. Smart boy.
As stated, I had NO idea that X-rated features were even available. Pox on me for not exploring Comcast features more thoroughly. I was just beside myself. First, with dawning horror that he might know what those titles mean and WANT to watch them (at age 10); and then by extreme pride (that he will not know exists in this instance )- for the fact that in his motivated state --- he was able to be SO creative, determined, and successful!
That's our Ben ... always a child of amazing grace and determination. So, now that I have to work extra to pay off the added $100.00 or so charges on the upcoming cable bill --- let's talk about those little red vixen high-heeled pumps, in the above photo, hm?
In the above picture, the label notes the name "Tesla" ... Do you think Nikola would mind having his name attached to such randy little vinyl CFM* pumps?
(*CFM - Come F*** Me)
Actually, I don't think such shoes even exist. I think that pic is a graphic poster creation by someone called Tesla Miles. I didn't have time to dig further, but it's SO weird. Anyway, guys, little Ben is growing up. I have now locked out all X, R, and MA titles, channels, etc. with a double parental lock. Password PLUS a lock on each pay channel and title. If he gets past those, I'll be convinced that he is magic. Barring that, he may be the first autistic savant with a ... um ... latex specialty! Then, we'll have to see about double secret probation.

Man Tink...that is too funny!
I mean on a certain level it is and on a certain level it isn't. 10 years old is kind of young to be watching that stuff. My Mom would have freaked!
Thanks Rob :o) He is a smart one! lol The weird part is that he never watched them. When I work, he goes in and plays with the digital cable box, looking for fav. shows. I check on him a lot. So, I know that he never watched them. There is no way. He just .. well ... ordered them! Of course, he could have been watching and when he heard me coming to check on him, quickly changed the channel. Oh well. Lessons learned all around!
I guess in the "big picture" of life it's pretty inconsequential. ;o)
What a hoot. You go Ben!
Tom
hahaha Tom ... let's not encourage the lad, hm?
lol
He is (as you know from working with auties for so long) quite industrious and aware in his own ways. Some things SO subtle, that even the most practiced observer can easily overlook. I guess, in part, that aspect serves Ben well. He can get away with some things *because* he is sometimes underestimated in ability. When he is determined - look out! lol
Aw man...He never watched them?
Well there goes my next request which was going to be a movie review from him. Darn!
Being such a huge fan of shoes, how did I miss this picture. I did read your post aswell, is Ben on probation? Love those shoes.
