Happy Newd Years!

As daughter Sarah says it. "Happy Newd Years!" :o)

So, friends - neighbors - citizens. We've had to take a wee break from blogging due to other priorities with family and work. Thank you for the kind notes and e-mails inquiring about our well-being and Eggsalad recipes! Gosh dang it ... y'all brought tears to old Annie's eyes. No, we weren't grating onions for the salad. :o)

As we ponder how many former presidents, dictators, and others may be dancing around the hot rocks, brimstone and flaming punch for New Year's Eve, we also pause to give thanks to all who have supported us this past year with so many blessings, challenges, lessons, and love. Annie wonders if Georgie had at least one little moment of true "God fearing" while hunkered in that tornado shelter, around the same time Saddam was not hunkering but hanging. You know, Annie does not support cruel, evil dictators but our administration did - until the flappable and somewhat petulant former Iraqi stopped playing D.C. Game. You know, Saddam may be preparing a belated Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, Future production for the boys in D.C. *Something* seems to be needed to get these boys and their war toys and powermongering to *THINK* and have at least one poor night's sleep (for the right reasons.)

On to more pleasant thoughts:

As Father Time marches onward, so do we all. The Holiday season has been very magical for the children this year and we are blessed. We'll leave it at that and, once again, wish all a very, very Happy Newd Years!
