Birds' Oldest Ancestor Found in China

Fossils Indicate Loonlike Creatures Flew and Swam

Paleontologists have unearthed the exquisitely preserved fossils of what is the oldest known ancestor of modern birds, a loonlike swimmer and flier that flourished in lake country 110 million years ago in what is today northwest China.

We note that the fossilized bones discovered remain headless, but a number of scientists were likening "Gansus yumenensis" to a duck. Quack.

We know this all may seem disconnected and/or strange, but there are parallels to the strange and/or disconnected, angry, unrestful, anxious feelings that many people are experiencing these days. What happens "above" (spirit-cosmos) does, indeed, reflect "below" (physical-matter.) As the song from "Toy Story" reflects: "Strange things are happening...." While Orion works on his Part 4 telling of "The World," (The Birds Versus Technology) we'll just set this "Unearth-lings" post right down on top of the one below!
