Forgetfulness is the Mother of Invention!
A team of scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have demonstrated a wireless power transfer scheme they have dubbed 'WiTricity' or wireless electricity.
While the demonstration was of a 60W globe being powered from a source over two metres (seven feet) away, a more popular application could be to recharge electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, making them truly wireless.
The project, inspired when team leader Professor Marin Soljacic repeatedly forgot to recharge his mobile phone, was funded by the US Army Research Office, National Science Foundation and Department of Energy.

hello, i like your pic of Jerry and the info you provide.
Hi Gracie,
What a sweetheart you are! I was thinking the same about you and your uncommon common sense. I left a little note for you and June.

Hello Tink. I'm here via Dale's blog...healthy curiosity you see..and I'm even older..lol. Anywaythis post is intrigueing, but I'm much more taken by the pic...I love the mad scientist look!
I love egg salad too by the way, and I see you are a fellow Stevie Ray Vaughan fan, so there we are - two very important things in common. food and soul food. Take care! Val
Hi Tink,
You are a dear to go through so much trouble trying to help me. I typed in and clicked save profile. It said "profile saved" ~ but, still no picture.
By the way ~ I saw Stevie play at Alpine Valley the night he died. Talk about highest high and lowest low :(
Hope today is a happy day for you but, it always seem like you're happy :) So I hope today brings you unexpected joy in a most profound way!
Hi Tink
Thanks for the reminder.
I'll plug my phone in right away!
Have a good Sunday.
Hello and Good Morning! (afternoon here, tho) A work day for me. (Typing live transcription for a local hospital radiology dept. from home.) When it's slow, I can peek around the Internet if the children are occupied! Today, they are visiting their dad for a few hours (we're separated.) (thank God.) :o) Hey, sometimes those marital splits are simply for the best of all!
To Soul and Soul Food, yep! (I had to remake an egg salad recipe with low/no cholesterol. I'm allowed 3 eggs per week, so use those. If I go over the allotment, I make scrambled eggs with an egg substitute, then chop them up as for egg salad. Then, use a fat free/cholesterol free mayonnaise. With celery, onion, and the eggs, I don't miss the real mayo. It was wonderful) :o)

(JANICE - I redid your photo and put up the link on your blog. Try again - as when I reviewed the size --- it was still a bit too large to fit in the profile section. Sorry! If it does not work this time, then you're going to have to resize the photo on your computer photo editor, and then re-save it to a blog post. Once it's up on your blog as a post, click on the photo to get the "photo only" screen up. Copy the URL from the address bar up there and save it in a separate text file for reference. Go back into your blog post, edit, and then *SAVE* it as a *DRAFT* so that it doesn't show up on your blog. Then go back into edit profile, copy/paste that URL you saved into the photograph section (take out the extra http:// if there is one when you paste it.) SAVE your profile. Refresh your page/blog. That should be it!
Hi Tink
I love egg salad, too. As a matter of fact, I love most food!
Life is full of spirit, things that go bump (night and day), matter, and autism...
My son has been through all the tests - he wasn't normal.
Now he's been discovered as "gifted" and I think that is very close to a form of autism... but aren't we all?
I love my children.
Dale
Hi Tink,
Thank you so much for all the information and your attempts to get my picture up for me. It's still not behaving as I had hoped but, I will follow your instructions and we'll see what happens.
So much appreciation, Janice
Hi Tink,
Not having much success in the picture department but sure am enjoying consoling myself with egg salad!! For real :)
