Have you ever seen the rain, comin' down ...
8th straight day of rain up here in the N.E. Feels like it's raining all over the world.
The children brought up the old game "Twister" the other day. I think they saw something on teevee about it. I'm always on the lookout for different things to do and introducing them to "old" games that are "new" is fun ... they enjoy hearing stories about when their Mom was a kid. So, we'll be on the hunt for a "Twister" game pack. Our 8 y/o son asked, "Who is Milton Bradley?" after seeing the name on the photo of the game. Good question, son. Who *is* Milton Bradley? That is his next homeschool assignment.
Long spells of rain always get us searching for interesting things to do inside. I work from home and unschool the children at home. While it brings enormous benefits - keeping their interest up is often subject to my level of energy and creativity. Their energy seems boundless most days.
The same 8 y/o stated matter of factly yesterday that he is a "Jaguar." His "animal energy" changes from week to week. So, for the next week or so - everything he does will be laced with "Jaguar" themes.
Do Jaguars play "Twister"? And could you name one Milton Bradley? lol
