Before we begin our Memorial Day post, dedicated to the majority countless men who served us well and the disgraceful treatment they receive, let's stop for a moment and look at another area that is our disgrace and ties into the sacrificial themes which base this culture and collective, known as the United States of America.

One of the deep, dark secrets of America's past has finally come to light.
Starting in the early 1900s, hundreds of thousands of American children were warehoused in institutions by state governments. And the federal government did nothing to stop it.
The Fernald School is the oldest institution of its kind in the country. At its peak, some 2,500 people were confined here, most of them children. All of them were called feeble-minded, whether they were or not.
The people who ran Fernald back in the bad, old days are no longer alive, but many of the victims still are -- victims like Fred Boyce, who was locked up there for 11 years. He came back to Fernald with Correspondent Bob Simon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We thought for a long time that we belonged there, that we were not part of the species. We thought we were some kind of, you know, people that wasn't supposed to be born," says Boyce.
And that was precisely the idea.
The Fernald School, and others like it, was part of a popular American movement in the early 20th century called the Eugenics movement. The idea was to separate people considered to be genetically inferior from the rest of society, to prevent them from reproducing.
Eugenics is usually associated with Nazi Germany, but in fact, it started in America. Not only that, it continued here long after Hitler's Germany was in ruins.
It was government policy. "People were told, we can be rid of all disease, we can lower the crime rate, we can increase the wealth of our nation, if we only keep certain people from having babies," says D'Antonio.
He says back then, schools tested children regularly, and those classified as feeble-minded got a one-way ticket to Fernald -- or to one of the more than 100 institutions like it.
"Idiot, imbecile, and moron were all medical terms. They were used to define various levels of retardation or disability. Moron was coined to describe children who were almost normal," says D'Antonio. "I would estimate that at least 50 percent would function in today's world well."
Almeida, however, had an unusual job, and the fruits of his labor are still there 50 years later. His job was to cut up the brains of severely retarded people who had died at Fernald. He cut them into thin slices so scientists could study them. Nothing ever came of the research, but the bits of brains are still there.
Almeida says few of the attendants showed any kindness, and some of them should have been institutionalized themselves: "These people were sick that worked here."
And of course, there was sexual abuse. The place was tailor made for it.
David White-Lief, an attorney who worked on the state task force investigating the science club, says he was outraged that the children were exploited without their knowledge. "It's my contention, and it was my contention on the task force, that these experiments, because of the lack of informed consent, violated the Nuremburg Code established just 10 years earlier," says White-Lief. "The lesson of Nazi Germany was we don't do experiments on people without informed consent. They didn't use the word "informed consent" - without knowing consent."
(tell *that* to the veterans who are ill and suffering from the effects of such experimentation, but who are told their problems are psychological. Maybe in some cases this is also true. But, it is a direct result of having been placed in harm's way with intent and then not having the medical, financial, social, or psychological supports promised. Quite the contrary. They are often intentionally denied access to care in all its aspects.)
(Just as we read in the prior post on the plain evil of Judge Rottenberg Centers, we must wonder how in hell, do these entities exist without public furor and outrage? Well, the fact that these type of centers and entities have the blessing our Judicial Systems should answer that. After all, Justice demands the scapegoat, does it not? Collusion with the Department of Defense answers it as well. The DOD oversees the Department of Education in this country. Did we all know that? Does the Defense Dept. RUN the country? Apparently, that's a rhetorical question! Also see Annie's blog post titled " The Owl Flies Low Over Der Homeland Trees" for additional clues.)
Boyce, also in the science club, got a group of members together and they sued. Each received approximately $60,000 in compensation from MIT, Quaker Oats and the government.
MIT, Quaker Oats to settle radiation experiment suit

Having lived here for just over five years now, Annie can attest to the fact that not only are the air and water fouled on the East Coast of America; but, it's very ground and energy is tainted with the heavy corruption of sickened soul.
Little Dynamo has written a vast number of moving, frightening, and provocatively intelligent essays on some of the malevolent historical players who disgraced this land and thusly spread the meluca roots westward. This enormously important piece ties together the midwivery elements that helped to birth the eugenics movement in this country and the spiritual sickness that demands a collective penchant for the blood sacrifice of scapegoats. And wait until you read about the women who really *mooved* those Quaker oats. It's at this link:
Nailing The Coffin Down
The experiments on the unwitting boys at Fernald came to light as part of a broader government investigation of human radiation experiments. In 1994, U.S. President Bill Clinton appointed the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments to investigate possible ethical violations.
In its chapter on the Fernald experiments, the committee notes: "Today, fifty years after the Fernald experiments, there are still no federal regulations protecting institutionalized children from unfair treatment in research involving human subjects."
The human radiation experiments in question, along with drug experimentation, were centered primarily on war veterans of the U.S. of A. (A for Atrocities magnimous.) The Committee was headed by Senator Paul Wellstone (now deceased) (in a suspicious manner)
Here was a man, Wellstone, championing the causes of the little guys - the underdogs - us! and for the basic human rights of our VETERANS. Read what the "leaders" of this once great Country America had to sneer about Paul Wellstone:

I'm for the little fellers, not the Rockefellers. - Sen. Paul Wellstone
Shortly before he died in a mysterious airplane crash 11 days prior to the 2002 elections, Minnesota Sen. Paul Wellstone met with Vice President Dick Cheney, probably the Bush administration's most evil public face.
Cheney strong-armed opposing politicians like the most vindictive of mafioso leaders, and opponents usually gave in.
But not Wellstone. Whatever you thought of his progressive brand of politics, he wasn't a wimp. And that's what made him more than dangerous in the eyes of people like Cheney.
At a meeting full of war veterans in Willmar, Minn., days before his death, Wellstone told attendees that Cheney told him, "If you vote against the war in
Iraq, the Bush administration will do whatever is necessary to get you. There will be severe ramifications for you and the state of Minnesota."
There was no love lost between the Bush clan and Wellstone. In 1990, as Wellstone challenged the Persian Gulf War preparations, Bush Sr. even referred to Wellstone as a "chicken shit." When Wellstone first met Bush Jr. in 2001, the latter disrespectfully called him "Pablo."
As The Nation said in May 2002, getting rid of Wellstone was a passion for Bush, Karl Rove, and Cheney. "There are people in the White House who wake up in the morning thinking about how they will defeat Paul Wellstone," a senior Republican aide told The Nation. "This one is political and personal for them."

SENATOR WELLSTONE:
(regarding, first, Operation Tumbler Snapper)
Your work is of extraordinary importance, not only to
those who were the subjects of radiation experiments, whose trust
was violated by their own government, but to all Americans who
believe that it is the primary responsibility of government to
deal honestly and justly with its people and, most important, to
tell the truth to and recommend remedies, including compensation,
for those of its citizens it has wronged over a 50-year period.
I hope you will agree with me that it's about time that
the government, which placed these patriotic veterans in harm's
way, paid its long overdue debt to them.
Without mincing words, let me state categorically that
I believe the view of most atomic veterans, that the government
they trusted to take every possible measure to guarantee their
safety, in fact treated them like guinea pigs in uniform. I
believe that that view is hardly an exaggeration. I wish I could
say otherwise.
Moreover, they were sworn to secrecy about their
participation in nuclear tests, even denied access to their own
service health records, and provided with no follow-up health
care or even medical monitoring.
Many of their children and even grandchildren are suffering from serious
illnesses and birth defects, conditions that had never occurred
previously in the family of either parent.''
I'm certain that it will be of interest to this committee that a Defense Nuclear Agency fact sheet on Operation Tumbler Snapper points out that during the nuclear blast, DOD personnel were involved in numerous, and I quote, "test group experiments".
Troops were also subject to psychological, chemical and psychoactive drug experimentation, (...)
Today, veterans we love and care about are sickened, disabled, dying, and no one is helping them. Is it any wonder that those 26.5 MILLION records "disappeared" from the hands of those entrusted to the welfare and promised care of our vets? A look at the bio of Robert "Jim" Nicholson, current Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs will more than likely show us where the real allegiance lies.
Robert James "Jim" Nicholson, of Colorado, was appointed http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/nominations/1027.html) December 9, 2004, by President George W. Bush to be Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His nomination was sent to the U.S. Senate January 4, 2005. Nicholson was unanimously confirmed January 26, 2005, and was sworn into office on February 1, 2005. [1]
Prior to his nomination, Mr. Nicholson served as U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See, a position he held since 2001, where he became a well-known advocate in Rome for the elevation of human dignity, giving special emphasis to human trafficking, religious freedom, starvation and bio-tech food, HIVAIDS, and international terrorism. He was knighted by Pope John Paul II in October 2003 for this work representing the U.S. to the Vatican," according to his White
House profile (http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/nicholson-bio.html).
(Mr. Nicholson is also a veteran with 8 years active paratrooper military duty, 22 years Reserve, retiring with rank of Colonel.)
More importantly to the fetid aspect of this agency:
"In January 1986, Mr. Nicholson was elected committeeman from Colorado for the Republican National Committee (RNC). In 1993 he was elected vice-chairman of the RNC, and in January 1997, he was elected chairman of the RNC, where he served for four years, through the elections of 2000." [2]

Our nation is currently a military-prison complex corporate entity. And it probably always was. Also see http://www.prisonplanet.com/. Annie's sure that even the hills of Moloch's sacrificial altars cannot compare. To understand how we, as a collective people, support and even encourage members of our family of man to be sacrificed - a good place to start is with the following Penn State publication. "Blood Sacrifice and the Nation: Revisiting Civil Religion."
http://www.asc.upenn.edu/USR/fcm/jaar.htm
Americans live in a culture that is as religious as any that exists. In this article we contend that nationalism is the most powerful religion in the United States, and perhaps in many other countries.(1) Structurally speaking, nationalism mirrors sectarian belief systems such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam and others that are more conventionally labeled as religious.
It happens that nationalism also satisfies many traditional definitions of religion, but citizens of nation-states have religious reasons for denying it. We argue that both sectarian and national religions organize killing energy by committing devotees to sacrifice themselves to the group.(2) We also explore the ritual role of media in propagating national religion.
For the more "fiction" oriented readers who share Annie's need to concretize the concepts in a different way, perhaps a review of Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery" would be helpful.
In the meantime, be disturbed and get vocal. People you love are being harmed in a most grievous manner. On this Memorial Day, please do share a silent moment for those who willingly and some unwillingly gave life blood in allegiance and honor for a Country of freedom, believing in a Government for the People and By The People.
Most importantly on this Memorial Day, know that those same people who willingly gave their service to all of us were deceived in that Service and suffer in terrible ways today. Do you know a Veteran who is suffering and unable to trust the Veteran's Administration Medical Complex? Annie knows a few. If you are one who can help some of these guys, please open your hearts, your mouths, and your pockets so that they can get the attention, medical care, and vindication so deserved. Free up their choices so that medical attention and care can be given outside of the overburdened and often despicable V.A. System.
And Annie believes that Mr. Nicholson and cronies would like nothing better than to expunge the evidence of the psychological and physical ramifications of their Unholy Alliances.
We'll move on now and continue our series on human experimentation in subsequent posts. As we ponder what it is that binds a country's leadership into the dark pits of hell, we can be sure it's not worship of a Loving or Righteous God of Light.
Captain America is that you
Flying down the highway
In your red white and blue
You remind me of the days
In that infamous war
When we weren't quite sure
What we were fighting for
I see you again and it makes me think
About just who I am
Is there someone in charge
Who can lead the way tonight
Who knows the plan
Where there's love
There is grace
There's still hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Gives me faith in the human race
Captain America what do you see
Millions of your brothers say they'll fight to be free
Who could have known you would be the chosen one
To kick start our dreams
The cycle of life goes around and round again
Tell me what does it mean
Can it be true
Where there's love
There is grace
And there's hope left in this place
And the smile on your face
Gives me faith in the human race
