Here we grow again ... Yep, you got it! You guys called it right!!! I left the nest alone because we thought MamaBird was hangin' out, lookin' mighty heavy with eggs. Sure enough, she started to sit with the nest this past weekend and re-prep it. A bit of fluff here, a bit of twine there, spleckets of twigs everywhere and VOILA! A new egg. This morning. Welcome to Our Porch! Stay tuned.
We've all seen all three "babies" scratching for bugs around the yard. They are gorgeous. Breasts are speckled red and brown, getting their adult-type feathers and able to fly to the lower trees.
Meanwhile, a Wee Fairy Village sprouted up, on the North side, overnight last weekend. Our Nature Wonderland is growing by leaps and bounds!
Happy Monday and Welcome Summer ~*~

Hi Tink! That's awesome...it's so fun watching the wonders of nature take place right under your nose.
They grow up too fast, don't they? Before you know it, they'll be asking for the directions to Central America! (no wait, robins don't migrate, do they?)
Do you have any pics of the robin-teens?
How COOL about the new egg! You are BLESSED! (must be a very special garden with a very special house. :-))
(I think you ARE blessed. This is incredible, Tink...)
I wonder if the mama robin is still "with egg"....
wonder if there'll be more....
(ok, now? . . . ok)
BABY ROBIN EGG! BABY ROBIN EGG!!
finally, the chant fits the moment

I knew you would have more eggs. :)
I look forward to these new babies.
Happy Monday, and yes! Summer is here, and it was hot today.

p.s. I've been trying to get a pic of the "teens" out back, but they fly away every time I come around the corner. lol I'm trying to get one thru a window, but the stupid flash keeps going off, and I cannot set it to "off" because it's a digital camera for dummies (auto flash with no manual control built in.) Will keep trying.
Blessings all around ~*~
p.s. I think one of the teens was holding an english-spanish dictionary ... so they *might* be trying to get outside the flock mentality and try one of those little Mexicali worms ...
haha. :o)
Teens.
LOL :-)
