From time to time, we rediscover writers, artists, idea people we had previously forgotten. Sometimes their work is rediscovered via synchronous events. A few weeks ago, while searching another link, 7 yr old autie son Ben pushed my hand on the keyboard and the mouse clicked on a link to "The Rude Guy." lol Rich Zubaty. Also known as The Happy Fool. Annie spent some time reading The Happy Fool and felt that sensation of deja vu. The writing seemed familiar and Annie realized the work being read was actually a review of one of Rich Zubaty's books. The review had been written by an old friend, gone now from our lives. Whoa. Then Annie realized that much of Rich Zubaty's work has been literally incorporated into the beliefs, writings, and ideas of writers who have gone after him and had captured Annie's eye and imagination.
Then, not two weeks later --- we noted that The Happy Fool was being promoted by none other than our autismlist founder. Oh my. Well, since then --- Annie has had a number of written "conversations" with that Happy Fool. An interesting "idea" guy. He understands the rampant lack of authentic healthy masculine in our culture. And he offers a number of solutions. Yesterday, after lacking sound system for a week or so, Annie's system speakers "suddenly" began working. hm. We listened to The Happy Fool's Podcast #6 after having read it a number of times. As the voice rumbled forth, same youngest son Ben spoke out loud and said "oh E!" He sometimes calls certain people or voices "E" I now believe this is his way of pointing out individuals with whom he has calling or purpose. And individuals who have a unique "connection" to certain aspects of the Spirit. After all, it was his push of the hand that caused the mouseclick that caused the link opening. That culminated in this post. lol Sort of like Heigh Ho the Derry Oh! The Farmer In The Dell. We shall watch. In the meantime, Annie discovered this wonderful excerpt from "Water People" on the website of The Happy Fool. Enjoy!

Yes, the Z-Man seems to have been one of the earliest authentics. While Annie is getting a handle on all of this infighting and backstabbing amongst supposedly - ethical and spiritually illuminated men, I'm not sure I follow the "disinformation" line of thought here. People grasp at all sorts of straws when they are confronted with their own failings and made to feel the discomfort of the same. Some think, grow, and change. Some stay as they are and lash out like children. Anyway:

Aren't we told that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? It's possible. But those who copy the work of others should practice ethical responsibility and give attribution where due!
So, Sam I Am .. we look forward to clarification on the "disinformation agent provocateur" stuff.

Oh my! Let me clarify that attribution comment! I did not mean Mr. Zubaty's work.
I didn't quite finish that thought ... children were all about and singing Old MacDonald's Farm at that time. Sorry! lol The reference was meant for others who have done so [used the work of writers w/o attribution or just plain out plagiarize,] seen in and around the "men's" and "spiritual" sites.
