Damn...It's the 21st of December! It's almost time to start my X-mas shopping. Maybe I'll do it all today.

LOL @ Rob.

I'm so un-Christmasy this year. It's just not happening. (Makes me tired just thinking about it!) Well, just barely... hardly even a tree. Just a one-and-half foot high little artificial thing. It's awfully cute though! I could go for that every year. I hate all the rigamarole of Christmas. Takes all the fun (i.e., spontaneity) out of the celebration.

Tink -- are your family any better? So many needing good thoughts and prayers! I haven't stopped thinking of them.

lol Rob I did that one time and one time only. Did it all the day before and the morning of Christmas Eve. Of course, that was *way* before kids. I have 10 left to wrap. :o) Either way, wishes for you, Taz, Riley, and your brother to have a Merry Christmas together.

Hey Paul I loved this Ebenezer Scrooge the best. Alastair Sim, I think. It was the 1950s version. Thank you and a most Joyous Christmas to you and yours!

Hi Lucy Make it your own and do what makes you and yours happy and joyful. That's what counts. Thank you - my Mom is home from hospital and is MUCH better. Brother has a long road of chemo and radiation, but he's a tough guy. Stubborn like his sister. ;o) Wishes for a peaceful and happy Christmas !

Aw, Tink -- so glad to hear your mom's much better. :-) Sounds like you're taking good care of her. I hope it continues on for the best. Same for your brother -- I wish him the very, very best through this long road.

Well, as for Christmas -- it's getting late and the house is a mess, hardly Xmasy. I'm afraid my kids have higher expectations than what I can provide this year. My mom was so sweet -- just got a package from her today -- loads of chocolates, etc. and wrapped presents. It's kinda re-inspired me.

But my sister (in Louavul) (the one with the Brittanys) and I are trying to plan a trip down to N.O. for New Years' ... ack! The thought's making me tired. What a long drive....

xoxo love and sweet wishes to all! (busy weekend I'm afraid (as for many of us) so my blogging'll be spotty)

E.L. (I've made note of your new blog addy, grace)

No way Grace already found ya! ;o) Your girls get more beautiful each month. Their Santa hats were the best touch to those photos. I adored looking at them. Some day soon .. I hope & pray .. we'll be able to have a dog again. ;o)

Thanks so much Lucy Time is a bit pressed here, too. Wish I could say it was me who helped Mom get better, but I think it was God. Or at least good doctors. :o) (lol)

Everything will be as it should be. Christmas will come no matter what, and its true meaning will enter the hearts of many, I hope. I can't imagine long car trips anymore. I think I've done too many to look forward to those - at least not for a while. No matter what you do or where you go Eternal Lucy ... know that the good tidings, prayers, and happy wishes of many follow you.

Merry Christmas!

XO Tink

Back at ya, Tink! Thanks for the sweet wishes directed at me personally, as well as the sweet wishes you posted to all who read your blog. I will find my way home one of these days. I know I'm already halfway there with people like you in my life. I mean that.

Just got finished booking my trip down to La. A teeny bit of the load is off now... But got more shopping to do tomorrow, then tomorrow night off to the zoo for a promised trip with my son to see the "Lights Before Christmas" at our lovely zoo. I'll try to take pics!

I hope you and your little ones build warm and cozy memories together this year.

I feel buoyed up. :-)
