The children have been focused on and off for at least 2 weeks on lizards, reptiles, dragons of all sorts. Youngest son has been obsessed with viewing and studying a colorized pamphlet featuring toy "Fire and Ice Dragons." When the children get focused like that - I like to do a little research and we learn more about reptiles and other scientific agenda.
"Fire and Ice" Dragons are Australian "bearded dragons" [lizards] bred and cross-bred to produce brilliant color spectrums. Crested Geckos are also used. Says the breeder: "The Citrus bloodlines epitomize the goals and philosophies of Fire and Ice." [Pogona vitticeps] There are "fire morphs" and "ice morphs."
I cannot find exactly what those "goals and philosophies" are. Apparently, there is an entire culture and subculture of breeding, owning, and caring for such reptiles. Not to mention a subculture of gamers who play dragon fantasy adventures.

There is even a 125-feets high, 3,200-feets long American Roller Coaster called Dueling Dragons that features a double inverted track. Yep - one is "fire" and the other "ice." Best coaster I've ever been on was in Gurnee, Illinois. The American Eagle. An old-fashioned, wooden double coaster. Click click:::click click::::: click click:::: up up up the rickety-tickety track and then WHOOOOSH! down down down, leaving the tummy somewhere on Mars. Gosh - sort of like life.
