Counting Blessings ~ Christmas In July

After dinner last night we spent some time in the backyard. I had a throbbing migraine that had uncharacteristically hung in there for 2 days. It had begun during the night/morning going into July 4, 2005. I think it started when the Temp-el I comet was violated. I think that because I awoke around 2:00 am eastern time with characteristic throbbing and fullness/ringing in ears. Later that morning, I discovered a return of some uterine hemorrhaging that has been and on/off problem this past year. Hm.

We are very sensitive to disturbances in the environment and tend to feel those effects in physical ways. Apparently so did the 12 Apostle Rock Formation in Australia. It crashed into the Ocean in seeming coincidential timing of that Comet's wound. Since beginning to understand synchronous time motion and after at least 40 years of undeniable synchrony with others and events [in my life] I no longer believe in mere "coincidence." All things happen for a reason. No accidents. Anyway, the atypical migraine finally dissipated last night and I feel human again.

While outside with the children it began to rain. Sarah had a minor freak out when an earwig skittered across her foot. So, she and Orion went inside. I gathered our "stuff" and turned to hold Ben's hand. As we looked down --- right at his feet was a tiny Santa Claus on a gold looped string. HUH? Yup! A little tiny plastic ornament. No bigger than a thimble. We had a strange encounter just last week with an older gentleman who looked just like Santa Claus. So, this morning: Sarah said "I think Santa's elves brought it to us for a present." Orion said "Yeah, maybe it was the lawn gnomes." Ben played the tape "Candyland." I'm not sure what it All Means just now. But, i'm counting blessings and thanking. I scanned the little guy but the photo just does *not* want to upload. So, I'll try again after work. If it doesn't work, then it was meant to stay in your imagination.

Addition: 6:20 pm et ~ Okay! The scan loaded this time :o) That's our little Santa ornament on the golden "thread."

Here's a haiku written a few years ago. Seems like a good day to post it! Have a fine day.
