I started this post at an unintentional 11:11 p.m. eastern time. Stars had been a minor key theme today. The children have always referred to our physical death as a time when our "spirits return to the Stars."
They mentioned it today as they pondered the strange world of bats and vampires, a recurrent theme from the day before.
There was a weird article in the news yesterday about rabid vampire bats biting people in Brazil. They were talking about bats and vampires early in the morning. I didn't hear that news until late in the day.
The children have a strong tendency to "tune into" Earth events and other unusual phenomena. They particularly note Star themes of late.
11 people have died from those bat encounters, due to contracting rabies infections. Another 11.
I notice the number 11 at odd times throughout most days. This has occurred regularly for at least 7 years. I once read that the 11:11 is symbolic for a portal of sorts opening in the time/space continuum.
I had a very Unusual Occurrence that began at age 10 and culminated at age 11.
It involved, first, initials carved in a tree, then an angelic vision, a slide in a park, and the onset of first menses. While the actual Event culminated at age 11, the Promise made has remained an overarching movement through my life.
It has both sorely tested and deeply strengthened my Faith in Michael as angel, herald, defender, and Love's Keeper. Not myth or legend -- but real as rain. As the tag line for the film "Michael" attests: "Michael, he's not a saint ... He's an angel." :o) That's an affirmative, Captain!
That early life experience has been forefront in my memories this past week or so, as it happened in High Summertime. It's a little personal yet and a little long for right now. <3 But some day, I'll write about it.
In the meantime or the nicetime :o) hang onto your tin helmets for the Big Kahuna comet Temp-el 1 fireworks display, planned by our less than rational scientific types. Early morning July 4, 2005.
Film at 11!
