Cries Of The Songbird

"Songbird Indexing Services ~ I Organize Intellectual Assets"

Strange caption on this image! I chose it because of the gold-feathered songbird who graced our yard today. This illustration looked very similar to the warbler.

Poem for Today

"Cries Of The Songbird"

"Silence is Golden, but my eyes still see; Talking is cheap, people follow like sheep. Pity they'll be the last ones to know."

He chose a gold rattle and cried through the night.

Unheard by all but one of pure light.

A gold-feathered songbird came to the yard today,

Under her eye the worms ran away.

Then the rain fell long, going fast from one song.

The earth trembled low and its fire grew,

Those worms then stirred, they knew the right thing to do.

Up to the surface, their wiggles aglow,

Fueling songbirds so that World's Love could flow.

"Silence is golden, golden, but my eyes still see."
